Felipe Massa back on the podium

Pile Ferrari one day, a Ferrari driver forever. The sentence was perfectly confirmed by the welcome given to the Brazilian Felipe Massa on the podium of the Italian Grand Prix this Sunday. Third behind Mercedes W05 Hybrid still a step above, the former Ferrari driver spent a large part of the race alone, but remains delighted with his result. “It was a fantastic race for me, so I’m really happy. I got off to a good start and passed Magnussen just at the right time. I had to work hard to maintain this position. Unfortunately, the Mercedes was still a little fast. We did our best. Monza is a special podium, and hearing the fans chant my name was incredible. » declared Massa, who spent eight seasons with Scuderia Ferrari for eleven victories between 2006 and 2008.

Thanks to the podium of the Pauliste, the first since Spain in 2013, and the fourth place of Valtteri Bottas, both drivers having been confirmed for 2015 this morning, Williams takes 3rd place in the Manufacturers' championship at Scuderia Ferrari.
