Felipe Massa maintains support for Williams

The 2014 German Grand Prix only lasted one corner for Brazilian Felipe Massa. Left in a rollover after a collision with the McLaren from Danish Kevin Magnussen, the former pilot Ferrari recorded his third retirement of the season at Hockenheim during the first round. Despite everything, Massa maintains the support of his team.

“Felipe is doing a good job, he just wasn't lucky, explains Team Principal-Deputy Claire Williams on the official website of the F1. He has enough experience in this sport, to know that sometimes things don't go your way. But that won't bring him down. He did a lot of work with the engineering department to develop the car. »

With the podium of Valtteri Bottas, the Grove team is now in 3rd place in the Manufacturers' standings, ahead of Scuderia Ferrari. But ambition comes with results. « Red Bull is only 67 points. And with the current points system, there's no reason why we can't challenge for second place. » adds Claire Williams.

The FW36s will try to continue their momentum this weekend in Hungary for the last race before the summer break.
