Félix Da Costa reserve driver at Red Bull in China

It's a freelance job of choice. Antonio Félix Da Costa will play the role of reserve driver at Red Bull on the occasion of the Chinese Grand Prix, which begins this Friday in Shanghai. The Portuguese prodigy, member of the Red Bull Junior Team, is currently engaged in Formula Renault 3.5. For his first appearance last weekend at Monza, he won in the second round. He also stood out at the end of last year, when he won the International Grand Prix F3 of Macau, leading every lap of the event.

For this Chinese weekend, the 21-year-old Portuguese will replace Sébastien Buemi*. The Swiss leaves his task because he will be in Great Britain for the opening of the world championship season. But he has already had the opportunity to drive a Force India during youth testing in 2010 and a Red Bull at the end of last year. He is also expected to replace Sébastien Buemi in this role again during the Singapore Grand Prix, which coincides with the Austin WEC round.
