Fernando Alonso victim of bicycle accident
The information was confirmed by the team Alpine F1 Team this Thursday, February 11 at around 21 p.m. Fernando Alonso was hit by a car while cycling in Switzerland, not far from Lugano.

Quickly taken care of by emergency services, the Spaniard was admitted to a hospital in the region. « Fernando is conscious. He is awaiting further medical examinations tomorrow morning (Friday February 12). »
Indeed, it still seems too early to report possible fractures linked to this accident. Alpine also indicates that it will not make any further communications until the next day.
Fernando Alonso is a fan of training of this type. His Instagram account is full of photos taken during cycling trips, whether in Spain or Switzerland.
