Tensions are rising between Ferrari et Aston Martin according to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport. Indeed, the Scuderia would have finally decided to review its plans concerning the departure of Enrico Cardile, announced as a recruit of the Greens in 2024 and expected on the Silverstone side before the start of the season.

That was Lawrence's original plan. Stroll and the engineer when he negotiated his departure from Maranello, made official on July 8th. Aston Martin wanted its new technical director Enrico Cardile to take up his duties at the same time as Adrian Newey, who was appointed as principal technical partner and arrived at the factory on Monday March 3.

But we will have to wait a little longer to see the Italian wear the green jersey, and probably go to court, or at least mention it in the discussions that are currently underway. According to Corriere dello Sport, Ferrari has finally changed its mind about the length of the “gardening” period. Now, the Reds would like to extend it until July 18, more than a year after the official announcement of the end of his adventure with the Prancing Horse. Enough to make Lawrence Stroll furious according to the Italian media.

Everything is now in the hands of the lawyers of both parties while the initial agreement resulting from a mediation was broken for reasons still unknown. To be continued…
