Ferrari confirms Vettel until 2020
A few days after the announcement of the renewal of Kimi Räikkönen's contract for one year at Ferrari, it is the turn of Sebastian Vettel to see his contract extended with the Reds. The German, fighting for the title in the World Championship, returns for three years with Scuderia Ferrari. The team declared in a press release:
« Scuderia Ferrari has extended its technical and sporting contract with driver Sebastian Vettel for the 2018, 2019 and 2020 seasons of the World Championship. Formula 1. »
Arriving at the Scuderia in 2015, Sebastian Vettel put the Italians back on the path to victory in his second Grand Prix in Malaysia and signed two other victories that season. If 2016 was a more mixed year, 2017 marks the return of the brand to the prancing horse with 4 victories for the German, today leading the drivers' championship.
