Ferrari unveils special livery for its 90th anniversary

Since the 2018 Japanese Grand Prix, the single-seaters of Maranello feature the logos of Mission Winnow, an initiative launched by Philip Morris, historic sponsor of Ferrari.

Mission Winnow was even part of the name of the trans teamalpine on the first list of entries for the world championship of Formula 1 2019 broadcast by the FIA. The title sponsor, however, disappeared from the official name following an investigation by Australian authorities to find out whether Mission Winnow did not contravene the country's anti-smoking laws.

At the same time, Ferrari has chosen to remove any mention of the initiative from its SF90s for the first Grand Prix of the 2019 season, which takes place this weekend in Melbourne.

Instead, the latest from the Maranello workshops as well as the combinations of its drivers Sebastian Vettel et Charles Leclerc will feature an anniversary logo to honor the creation of the legendary Scuderia in 1929 by Enzo Ferrari.
