Ferrari still on the offensive on tire choices in Austin

For the United States Grand Prix which will be contested on October 23, the drivers of the Maranello have opted for seven sets of super-soft tires, five of softs and a single set of medium tires. A choice similar to that of the Sauber drivers, the only ones with Romain Grosjean (Haas) to follow the residents of Scuderia Ferrari in their selection.

At the same time, Red Bull Racing defined a more conservative choice, Daniel Ricciardo et Max Verstappen benefiting from six sets of super-softs, three of softs and four of medium tires.

In the clan Mercedes, Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton made slightly different selections. The championship leader will be able to count on five sets of soft tires, one more than the reigning world champion. The latter will, however, have a set of additional medium rubbers.
