Ferrari and Vettel need to talk, says Ross Brawn

New Grand Prix and new disappointment for Sebastian Vettel. At Silverstone this Sunday, the German suffered again, suffered a lot. Spinning off at the first corner as soon as the lights went out, the four-time world champion then experienced a very difficult race both in terms of strategy and the poor pace of his SF1000. In the end, “Baby Schumi” crossed the finish line in a pitiful 12th place.

A situation which does not help Ferrari's affairs, already with its back against the wall this season. To turn the tide, both parties must stick together and a good discussion would do no harm, as Ross Brawn points out. At least, that's what he did when he was still team boss and in particular of the Team.

« It was another complicated weekend for Sebastian (Vettel). When I faced these kinds of situations during my career, I would sit down with the pilot to understand what the problems were “, he says first.

« Then you try to include people in the discussion like engineers for example who will be useful to improve things. It will be up to Sebastian and the team to assess what they do for the rest of the season ».

From now on, both camps must be on the same wavelength to get out of this crisis, believes the former technical director of the Maranello team: “ They (Ferrari) clearly have a frustrated pilot. In everyone's interests, they must find a solution to continue together for the rest of the year. They need to reverse the trend ". It couldn't be clearer.
