Ferrari made the necessary investments to win

2015 marked the year of renewal for the team Maranello, with three victories for Italy's new hero Sebastian Vettel. 2016 must mark the year of confirmation of the return to the forefront of Scuderia Ferrari as indicated by the president of the Italian brand Sergio Marchionne this Monday when Ferrari carried out its IPO in Milan.

“We want to be the team to beat in Australia because we are the most successful team in history, commented Marchionne. We have done all the investments necessary to bring the title back to Maranello. I am sure that the work accomplished in 2015 by Maurizio Arrivabene and the whole team is an excellent basis for a successful season in 2016."

Still with the Sebastian Vettel duo? Kimi Räikkönen, the Finn having been extended for this year, Ferrari hopes to fight at the forefront with Mercedes, which has dominated the championship since the advent of V6 turbo/hybrid Power Units. Before the end of year celebrations, Sergio Marchionne admitted that the real battle against the German team would begin in 2016.
