Ferrari congratulates Kimi

Kimi Räikkönen will no longer be part of Scuderia Ferrari next season but Stefano Domenicali continues to be delighted with the Finn's performance on the track. With Giancarlo Fisichella at the back of the grid, the 2007 world champion is the only hope of Maranello to maintain third place in the constructors' championship.

« I don't think we could have hoped for better than fourth place. This is a very good result “, commented Stefano Domenicali, Ferrari team manager. “ We've made the most of the F60 as it is today. We must thank Kimi for his superb race. Thanks to him, we remain in third place in the manufacturers' ranking. »

As for the Finn, he also makes this assessment. “ The car wasn't too bad today but it didn't allow me to fight for the podium. The most important thing is to keep third place in the constructors' standings but it will be difficult to focus on that during the last two races. » However, this will be Kimi Räikkönen's last objective at Ferrari, before the announced arrival of Fernando Alonso.
