Ferrari increases the pace in EL3 in Montreal

Sebastian Vettel signs the best time in Free Practice 3 with a time of 1’11”557 which places the quadruple world champion 139 thousandths ahead of his teammate Charles Leclerc

The Mercedes de Lewis Hamilton et Valtteri Bottas follow in 3rd and 4th rows. The Silver Arrows, however, are a good distance away since the leader of the world championship has an outlay on Vettel which is around four tenths.

Red Bull completes a Top 6 with hardly an original look, Max Verstappen et Pierre Gasly starting around the second full mark with their Honda-powered RB15.

The honorary place of “best of the rest” goes to Daniel Ricciardo on the best ranked Renault R.S.19. The Australian is ahead of another car motorized by the Diamond, namely the McLaren de Lando Norris

For the third time in a row, Sergio Pérez climbs into the Top 10 with his Racing Point equipped with the new Mercedes engine. Less luck for his teammate Lance Stroll, who experienced a hydraulic leak early in the session and was only able to cover one lap in front of his home crowd.

Daniil Kvyat completes the first half of the field aboard his Toro Rosso. Discreet session for Haas - Kevin Magnussen is 12th, Romain Grosjean only 17th after hitting the Wall of Champions - as well as the Alfa Romeo where Kimi Räikkönen almost hit one of the many marmots that inhabit Notre-Dame Island.
