Daniil Kvyat completes the first half of the field aboard his Toro Rosso. Discreet session for Haas - Kevin Magnussen is 12th, Romain Grosjean only 17th after hitting the Wall of Champions - as well as the Alfa Romeo where Kimi Räikkönen almost hit one of the many marmots that inhabit Notre-Dame Island.
