Ferrari only completed 3 laps in Shanghai

The Ferrari drivers were the least diligent during the first and only practice session of the day at the Chinese GP. Sebastian Vettel completed laps in Shanghai while his teammate Kimi Räikkönen only completed one, the Team preferring to wait for the weather conditions to improve.

With the cancellation of the second test session, Scuderia Ferrari will only have one hour this Saturday to get its bearings and adjust the SF70Hs.

“It’s unfortunate, especially for the people who came to see us, but what can we do about it?, asked Sebastian Vettel. We have received so many messages in recent days from fans who were delighted with our result in Australia (with the victory of the German). We hope to find the right settings tomorrow, because it will be difficult otherwise. I think we'll get there tomorrow with better weather. »

“Nothing learned.”

Kimi Räikkönen confirms that this day proved completely useless for the teams.

“We had learned nothing nothing, said Kimi Räikkönen. We wanted to return to the track after the installation lap, but the session was interrupted. It's sad, but it's the same for everyone. You can't change the weather and these things can happen. It's not an ideal day, but we would have had to ride on a wet track anyway and rain is not forecast for tomorrow. »
