Ferrari has not achieved all its objectives

Despite 74 covered laps and the 3rd time this Sunday (more than a second from the reference Lewis Hamilton, Ed.), Fernando Alonso do not hide that Team did not fulfill all its objectives during this last week on the Sakhir route. “The team is doing everything possible to make changes to the car as quickly as possible, but even today we planned to do more laps than we managed to do. » explains the Spaniard. “There is a lot to learn with using the Power Unit to improve the performance of the car and we are not yet where we want to be. Everyone in the team is working day and night to unlock the full potential of the F14 T. We have completed these tests which were very demanding for everyone and I would like to thank the whole team for all their efforts. »

The Italian team was notably delayed this Sunday by gearbox problems, requiring its replacement in the F14 T just before the mid-day break. The Italian team covered 337 laps in total this past week in Sakhir.
