Ferrari will not enter 2010

During today's Board of Directors, Ferrari has decided not to enter the 2010 World Championship if the International Automobile Federation does not backtrack on the regulations established for next season.

“The Council expressed its disappointment with the way of doing things by the International Automobile Federation which took decisions without consultation with the manufacturers present today in F1 », Reveals the Scuderia.

And if Ferrari wants to call into question the 2010 regulations, the Italian manufacturer also wants to go further: “If these regulations are not revised, FOTA's proposals concerning cost reduction and the governance of F1 are not not taken into account, Ferrari does not intend to enter the 2010 championship.

Far from being a final decision, it is a threat formulated by the Scuderia.
