FIA: The teams are not unanimous

The limitation on blown exhausts will remain in effect for the time being? and the many problems it also generates. After granting technical exemptions to the engine manufacturer Mercedes and having canceled the exemption granted to the engine manufacturer Renault, the FIA wanted to return to the regulations in force before Silverstone.

The Federation therefore proposed to the teams to return to the old regulations if all the teams agreed with this measure. But certain teams found themselves at an advantage, notably the teams powered by Ferrari, which had not really pushed the development of blown exhausts due to lack of resources.

At the end of the meeting between the teams held this morning, the situation seems to be hopeless. Some teams have in fact refused the FIA's proposal. The situation will therefore remain as it is at least until the German GP.
