Fittipaldi retains role as test and reserve driver

Awarded two Grand Prix starts last year to replace Romain Grosjean, Pietro Fittipaldi will continue his apprenticeship within the team Haas.

Emerson's grandson is not offered a starting place here but an extension of his collaboration with the American team. This Friday, Pietro Fittipaldi was once again confirmed as test and reserve driver for Haas, a role he already occupied until now.

Pietro Fittipaldi will be the test driver throughout the season and will undoubtedly be entitled to a few sessions on certain Fridays during the year. If the holders Mick Schumacher et Nikita mazepin encountered problems, like Sergio Pérez or Lance stroll with Covid-19 in 2020, the Brazilian could replace them.
