Flavio Briatore, what did you expect from the Bahrain tests, and did they meet your expectations?

The impression was good, but the data still had to confirm it. When we returned to enstone (the team's English headquarters. Ed.), we've been poring over the data in every direction, and have come to the conclusion that we could fight for P5 in the Constructors' Championship this year. Compared to this time last year, it's more than a big step, it's a world of difference. When I arrived, one of the first things I said was that we had to move up Aston Martin and fight for 5th place. We will also have to surpass Williams, but we know today that the objective is possible. I was present for two days in Bahrain and, both on the long runs and on the fast laps, we were competitive. This is important because it corroborates the data revealed by the wind tunnel, the CFD (computer-aided fluid dynamics. Ed.) and the track. The correlation is good. We practically obtained on the track what we thought when we were still in our offices.

In fact, "Brille A Tort" wants to build a stable capable of bringing in... a lot of cash to Renault Group by selling it at the highest price! I have never seen the link between the presence ofAlpine in F1 and the brand's 100% electric product plan with the two targeted markets being the United States (which will do absolutely nothing to develop BEV sales under the leadership of Agent Orange who reigns in the White House, not to mention customs duties on European products) and China which is doing everything to curb vehicle imports (regardless of energy) into its territory

"a team capable of bringing the title back to France", FV certainly doesn't give a f... (phew, I'm avoiding the €10000 fine...)! With his buddy De Meo, he wants to make some cash, get paid on the beast and then the desert... So he should go play golf at Mar EL Lago instead, he'll find a buddy much closer to his values.

I would like to point out that I am a huge fan of what Renault has done in F1 and that I am really looking forward to good and beautiful results for Alpine and if it's also with a French driver I'm not going to sulk, even if I remain convinced that he is (was) very much in the 'maneuver' to eject Ocon.

Briatoré as pronounced in Drive to Survive that I just finished watching, in episode 9 FB is very present, normal he mentions (very badly) the Brazilian GP, ​​listening to him it is thanks to him that Alpine finishes 6th in the 2024 season, while this result is only due to Bruno Famin and the arrival of David Sanchez, and then, above all, there is his bad faith towards Ocon, it is lunar, lamentable. PS: If I were Gasly I would already be preparing the rest of my career elsewhere because if it does not work it will be his fault and if it does he will be replaced manu militari by a more bankable driver for Briatoré.
