Force India will debut with the VJM03
Force India, so as not to reproduce the? “error” of 2010, will take part in the entirety of the pre-season tests. However, the VJM04 will not be ready in time and it is in the VJM03, the 2010 car, which will run in Valencia, during the first of four sessions in February.
“We looked at the organization of our start to the season and the introduction of the new Force India, the VJM04,” explains Otmar Szafnauer, chief operating officer of Force India for Reuters. The team will participate in all four pre-season sessions and will use the VJM03 for the first tests in Valencia, before the VJM04 makes its debut at Jerez the following week. »
Otmar Szafnauer also confirms that it is interesting for Force India to continue the development of the VJM04 for longer. Starting testing of the new car later will allow us to work longer in the wind tunnel. »
