Force India unveils VJM06 at Silverstone

Force India is the fourth team after Lotus F1 Team, McLaren et Ferrari to reveal his news car for the 2013 season. Vijay Mallya's team chose the Silverstone circuit to present the VJM06. The Scotsman took the wheel of the car for a roadshow, making the Indian car the first F1 car of the 2013 season to run this year. The VJM06 does not have many differences compared to its older sister but still has a classic nose like the MP4-28 and the F138. “I can’t wait to see what she can do.”, comments the Force India driver. “I think it’s difficult to set specific goals, especially at this stage. It’s just about consistency working on the foundations from last year. We want to have a car that can fight for Q3 and aim for good places. »

The uncertainty concerns the identity of the second driver who will play alongside Paul di Resta this season. Four days before the first tests of the season in Jérez, Force India maintains the vagueness. The names of Jules Bianchi and Adrian Sutil are still at the top of the list to replace Nico Hulkenberg left for Sauber F1 Team. The driver from the Ferrari Driver Academy was present this morning in Maranello for the presentation of the Ferrari F138.
