Force India confident

Force India completed its development program this Sunday, after starting it at Jerez on February 10. After twelve days of testing and nearly 4000 kilometers covered, the VJM03 has progressed according to the team's expectations. In conclusion, Adrian Sutil achieved the fourth best time of the day and of the week (1:20:611).

« I feel like it was my real first day of testing, says Adrian Sutil. We have done our race simulation and I think we can reasonably be happy and confident. The pace was good, the tire wear was really good, and I was able to complete a lot of laps, both on the hard and soft tires, without any problems. So both types of tires seem to work well for us. The qualifying simulation also went well. The car looks competitive in terms of top speed, and we now hope to show that in Bahrain. »

« The morning was very windy, says Dominic Harlow, chief race engineer. It really affected the balance of the car. We adapted the planned program, continuing evaluations over long relays. Adrian also tested different brake materials, especially regarding brake cooling. It was a good day to complete our winter testing program. The team has really worked hard over the last few days and deserves our congratulations after a very intense month of February. »
