Force India behind on its developments

The Indian team did not wish to install the developments made during the break in the calendar at the Turkish GP. She is falling behind her direct rivals who are expecting a lot of improvements for the Spanish GP.

« We started to evaluate these changes at the last race in Turkey by running with a new front wing during free practice. », Explains Vijay Mallya, the president of Force India. “ It was a shame that the rain came because it limited our testing program and we chose not to keep these new elements for the race. »

Vijay Malla hopes to see the new package installed on VJM04s as soon as possible. “ We are analyzing what we have noted and we hope to be able to implement this new package on the car from Barcelona or Monaco, it will depend on how things turn out. When our aerodynamic developments are in place, I am optimistic about our possibilities for development in terms of performance. »
