Force India worried about Williams breakthrough

Force India has achieved good results since the start of the season since the Indian team occupies fourth place in the Championship after eight Grands Prix. But the performance of Williams, who won a podium with Valtteri Bottas ahead of Felipe Massa in Red Bull Ring, allowed the Grove team to come back to just two units behind the Indian structure even if the latter placed its two cars in the points with Sergio Pérez sixth and Nico Hulkenberg ninth.

Vijay Mallya is aware that the fight with Williams promises to be difficult following such performances already seen at the Canadian Grand Prix where Felipe Massa was a contender for victory before being hit by… Sergio Pérez. “Williams showed from winter testing that they are very competitive this season and they also have the package Mercedes », recalls the owner of the Indian team on Crash.net. “They were fast in qualifying but more behind in the race. Nonetheless, they were just as successful in Austria and it's only a matter of time before they put it all together. So they are going to be serious opponents. I feared that they would overtake us in the Championship seeing the Williams in the front row. But we were able to minimize our delay and stay in fourth place. »
