Force India revises its targets upwards

Vijay Mallya, is almost certain that his team will take a step forward this year. He even goes so far as to describe their new car as the best ever to come out of their factory. With a sixth place in the manufacturers' championship last season, the Indian team hopes to improve this result. “ After a long winter, we are impatiently awaiting the start of the season, he explains. Our tests went very well. But like everyone else, we will only assess our competitiveness when the first race is over. But for our part, I am sure that Andrew Green and his technical team have done a fantastic job to give our two drivers a high-performance car. »

Two drivers that the team boss seems to esteem a lot. “ I'm happy to see Nico (Hulkenberg) and Paul (Di Resta) in action, he continues. Both are young and hungry for results. I am sure they will fight to get the last tenths. Additionally, there will be some sort of internal struggle. This fight will be healthy and may be truly fascinating to watch. » Hulkenberg, who will return to racing after a year of champing at the bit as a reserve driver, also shows his confidence. “ The tests went well and it was crucial to help me prepare well. But I know that these tests are very different from racing because there isn't the same pressure. I think the truth will come out during qualifying when we have to give everything and we only have one attempt », indicated the German.
