Force India will use Toyota's wind tunnel

Force India chose to change the wind tunnel to use this one from Toyota in Cologne. Vijay Mallya's team hopes to optimize its performance with this material.

Force India will use Toyota's wind tunnel

Force India has announced that it will change its wind tunnel starting next year. The Indian team will now work on the aerodynamic flow of its single-seaters in Cologne (Germany) in utilisant les installations de Toyota the. Vijay Mallya's structure will, however, leave his material to Brackley (Great Britain) available to external customers.

“The decision to use the Toyota wind tunnel is representative of our desire to continue at a competitive level in F1 » said Vijay Mallya. “This is one of the biggest decisions made in the history of this team since it is one of the best wind tunnels in the world. This will strengthen our approach for the coming years. »

Force India finished in 6th place in the Constructors' Championship this season. The Indian team will keep Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Pérez in 2015.
