Force India wants to take risks

Force India secured fourth place in the Manufacturers' Championship with two races remaining, making it the most successful team behind the top three teams. Mercedes, Ferrari et Red Bull.

Before the Brazilian GP played this weekend on the Interlagos circuit in Sao Paulo, Force India intends to evolve its approach by becoming more aggressive in order to get a little closer to the front and consider a place in the podium.

“It is a great achievement to secure fourth place in the Manufacturers’ Championship for the second year in a row, enthuses Vijay Mallya, the owner of the Indian team. I am proud of everything the team has achieved. This was our best season in terms of points scored while we are only 25 points away from the 200 mark. This demonstrates our consistency throughout the season. »

“With this fourth place acquired, we have the freedom to carry out a new approach for the remaining races, continues Vijay Mallya. We will be able to test different things and put different drivers in the cars on Friday to see what they can learn for next year. We can also be more aggressive in our strategies and take more risks. We always want more good results and we are keen to end the season on a good note. »
