If the Grands Prix of France, Belgium and Monaco can all claim the “historic” label which is not overused, it is commonly accepted that the one which, on paper, has the least chance of passing is the Castellet test. No majestic forest on the arid Var plateau, nor a setting as sumptuous as the Principality of Monaco. So why is FOM (Formula One Management) hesitant?

Liberty Media will go where the dollars are since the dollar is now king... even more so than under the Bernie era! And too bad for the story since the new fans arrive via Netflix and have absolutely no Formula 1 culture....
