François-Xavier Demaison: “Williams needs the driver to return”

Williams a put a profoundly revised FW44 on track this weekend. Is it possible to draw up an initial assessment of its introduction despite the accident suffered by Alex Albon at the beginning ?

This is not the right race to judge anything, indeed. Alex gets touched by Hag and hits the wall. It's far from ideal, but we were able to store data during the freestyles and qualifying in the rain. They are encouraging, but we are at the stage where we have to learn this new concept. We only had one FW44B here due to a lack of parts for two, and this accident will also complicate our task.
