Franz Tost awaits Ricciardo and Vergne

Jaime Alguersuari and Sébastien Buemi have recorded good performances this season with Toro Rosso. The two drivers from Dietrich Mateschitz's second team both finished in the top ten in Hungary. Franz Tost is satisfied with these results and looks forward to the rest of the season to observe their progress.

“They are evolving, it was clearly visible since the last races”, rejoices the general director of Toro Rosso. “Let’s wait and see how the second half of the season will evolve. At the end of the year, we will reflect with Red Bull on the choice of drivers for 2012.”

Franz Tost now hopes to work with the other young drivers in the Red Bull program. “We need a maximum of three seasons in this team”, adds the director of Toro Rosso. “This is the time it takes for a pilot to F1 goes from rookie status to an important part of the team. Sébastien and Jaime are doing a good job but I'm looking forward to working with the other young Red Bull drivers, Daniel Ricciardo and Jean-Éric Vergne. Both shone during the rookie tests last year in Abu Dhabi and Daniel was our third driver before getting an opportunity with HRT. »
