Franz Tost praises James Key

James Allison's departure from his position as technical director of Scuderia Ferrari, did not fail to give rise to the most diverse speculations on arrivals in the sports division of Maranello, and this despite the appointment of Mattia Binotto to take over the functions occupied by Allison.

The name of James key, technical director of the Scuderia Toro Rosso, has been returning for several weeks, but the Briton remains under contract with Faenza as recalled by Franz Tost, Team Principal of Toro Rosso.

“A person always has the ambition to do what he wants but, nevertheless, James has a contract with Toro Rosso and I expect him to respect that contract, comments Tost on the F1 website. And we want to keep [the duration of the contract] confidential. » Helmut Marko, motorsport consultant Red Bull, however, indicated to AutoBild that Key was under contract until 2018.

Franz Tost also praised the work of James Key on Faenza's latest creations, which notably enabled Max Verstappen to stand out for your first steps in F1 before being promoted to the Red Bull Racing team.
