For Frédéric Vasseur, born May 28, 1968 in Draveil (Essonne), just graduated from ESTACA (École Supérieure des Techniques Aéronautiques et de Construction Automobile), it all started in the first half of the 90s with an internship within the ASM (Action Sport and Motor) team. A structure created by Didier Panissié at the end of the 80s to race the “Orion” single-seaters in F. Renault. Hired, the young track engineer that he was then became a key element of ASM Technik – new name – based in Varennes-sur-Seine (Seine-et-Marne). Soon Vasseur will take shares in the team which plays in the French championship F3.
