Gasly, Hamilton, Horner… Reactions to Daniel Ricciardo’s departure

Present at the Adidas Arena in Paris on Thursday evening to attend an evening of the ARES Fighting Championship, the main promoter of MMA in France, Pierre Gasly spoke to Canal + on this subject.

« Daniel is a very big one Formula 1, he has a very good track record, commented the Frenchman. The last few years have been a bit more complicated for him. He remains a very important character in F1. I was able to see him in the early years and fight against him. He is a very nice person. He is appreciated by everyone in the paddock. He has brought a lot with his personality. He is a very good driver, aggressive. He will be missed by everyone in the paddock. »

Lewis Hamilton posted a tribute on his Instagram account. Daniel Ricciardo, it was an honour to compete with you over the years, the seven-time world champion wrote. I will never forget the battles, the laughs and drinking out of your shoe. It was disgusting but I am glad I got to do it with you mate. Your legacy is to always be yourself, which in this sport is never easy. You took it all in stride and I salute you for that. There is still a lot to do for you and I can’t wait to see what you do next. I am always here for you. »

A driver who displayed a real personality while today, legislators want to emasculate all the actors of F1! If he triumphed today, would he not be sanctioned for his celebration of the victory with his "shoey" (disgusting, according to Sir Lewis) for reasons of hygiene?
