Gasly: “I don’t have much to say”

If there is one driver who can harbor regrets this Saturday evening it is good Pierre Gasly. Very strong since the start of the weekend, the strong element ofAlpha Tauri was unable to materialize his efforts in qualifying due to a poor strategic choice which prevented him from getting out of Q2 with a 12th time.
« I don't have much to say at the moment, laments the Habs as they gradually digest their elimination in Q2. I think we easily had the pace to get through to Q3 so I'm obviously frustrated. However, in Q2 I was left with a completely worn set of tires after the end of Q1. I think it was a big mistake on our part but I will have to speak with the team to understand what happened today (SATURDAY). This is a wasted opportunity ».

Doomed to come back, Pierre Gasly and his team are now looking towards Sunday to “ see what we can do to make up for lost ground ". It's up to them now.
