George Russell with Force India in Brazil

George Russell will take the wheel of the Force India VJM10 for the first time this Friday for the first practice session of the Brazilian GP. Aged 19, the GP3 Series champion who benefits from the support of Mercedes will replace Sergio Pérez and will thus have Esteban Ocon for reference on the Interlagos circuit in Sao Paulo.

This will not be the only opportunity for George Russell since the Briton will also be present during the first practice session of the Abu Dhabi GP at Yas Marina, this time replacing Esteban Ocon.

“It’s fantastic to end the season with these testing sessions. I'm going to discover both the VJM10 and the Interlagos circuit." commented George Russell.
