Placed in the hot seat for 2022, Antonio Giovinazzi (Alfa Romeo) achieved one of his best career performances with a seventh fastest time in qualifying for the 2021 Dutch Grand Prix.

The Italian actually reached Q2 for the second time this year after a 10th time in Monaco. And as in the Principality, overtaking opportunities will be rare, enough to galvanize the 27-year-old driver.

“The objective is to keep this place,” he said. We'll start from a good place. This season, it’s difficult to understand which circuit might suit us. In free practice, I had a good feeling with the car.

Antonio Giovinazzi could not do better in the murky context surrounding his future in Formula 1. “Obviously what I've done is going to work for me, but I repeat, if I do a good job I'll keep a steering wheel and that's what I've managed to achieve over the last two years. »
