Glock hopes for opportunities for Marussia

If the race for the front is particularly open this year, with five different winners in the first five rounds of the season, the back of the grid is on the other hand predictable, with Caterham, Marussia and HRT subscribed in that order to the last places. The nature of the Monegasque track is, however, conducive to an evolution of this situation, at least that is what one of the drivers of these three teams, Timo Glock, who began his third season this year with the small Marussia team, hopes. (ex-Virgin).

« Monaco is a very special stage in the season, he explains. It’s the first “real” race in town and there’s always something happening. In fact, if there is one place where a “small team” can create a surprise, it is here. For my part, I hope to be able to show that the balancing problems which affected my MR-01 in the last two Grands Prix are now forgotten. I love Monaco, and when you drive an efficient car there, you really feel very good there. ».

Glock's best result in Monaco was 10th place in 2009, when he was piloting a Toyota.
