The challenge was like this imposing 40 meter drop to climb as soon as the lights go out and which makes the particularity of the Circuit Of The Americas (COTA): allow the F1 to settle down permanently on American soil. Until then, all promoters had found themselves facing this wall without ever succeeding in getting over it.
