Hotel bookings explode for Las Vegas Grand Prix/F1

You will still have to wait until November 2023 to discover the Las Vegas Formula 1 Grand Prix, newly announced to the calendar with great fanfare by the F1 Group. Nevertheless, and this is a new sign of the growing interest in sport in the United States, searches and reservations for hotel rooms are already exploding, 19 months before the deadline. According to our American colleagues from Nevada Independent, who are " within 24 hours following the official announcement of the Formula 1 to organize a Grand Prix in Las Vegas in November 2023, the Wynn Las Vegas and Encore (two famous hotel-casinos on the Strip. Editor’s note) have received more requests for hotel room reservations than on any day in the Strip's real estate history.«

The media also announces that other hotel-casinos on the Strip have received similar requests from potential customers. However, the official date of the Las Vegas Grand Prix has not yet been communicated, although it would be Saturday November 25, 2023, which would coincide with the Thanksgiving weekend. In order to discover Las Vegas in all its splendor, the race will take place at night, at 22 p.m. local time. Enough to promise a huge party in the country of Uncle Sam, and in the world capital of gambling. 170 spectators are expected at the Las Vegas Grand Prix. “ And what's more, we hope for more than 100 million viewers around the world, slips Sean McBurney, regional president of Caesars Entertainment. McBurney, still quoted by the Nevada Independent, returned to the latest exchanges between Formula 1, the owners of hotel-casinos on the Strip and the local authorities. “ It's not the easiest event to organize, but everyone agreed what a powerful event it would be for Las Vegas, and especially for F1. » The Las Vegas Grand Prix will take place on a 6,12 kilometer long circuit, including a large portion on the Strip, and will allow drivers to pass in front of the city's most famous buildings such as Caesars Palace, the Bellagio and its fountains or even the replica of the Eiffel Tower.
