Big points in perspective for Jean-Eric Vergne

Frenchman Jean-Eric Vergne's day suggests good prospects for Sunday's race in Hungary. Qualified in 8th position, the Habs can hope for another good result. “The team has done a great job to give me a car that I feel much more confident with than yesterday. So it’s very encouraging for tomorrow, but we have to stay focused to aim for good points. »

A real contrast with his teammate Daniil Kvyat, who failed to reach Q3 at the Hungaroring. The young Russian made a mistake at the end of Q2 at turn 12 and was unable to improve his time. “I am very frustrated with this error, explains Kvyat. But I will learn from this. I'm going to put it aside and focus on the race. It's not easy to overtake but I'll try everything. »

Kvyat will start 11th on the starting grid for the race which will start tomorrow at 14 p.m. and will be followed live on AUTOhebdo.fr.
