Grosjean: lots of points chances at the Australian GP

Your first verdict on this new generation of cars?

They are very nice to drive, everyone is unanimous. They go super fast, and we have all found a taste for driving again. You can also hit the brakes without having a monstrous loss of grip... Now, what will all this mean in traffic? That's the big question. It will be more difficult to follow another car due to the importance of the aero downforce, but as the DRS will have a greater efficiency of 40%, it will perhaps counterbalance the fact that we cannot get as close as possible. 'we want it.

Will tire management once again be a crucial factor in success or failure?

I remember that at the beginning of the 2010s, we could attack on a lap and then, with the driving, we managed to manage the degradation. Afterwards, from 2014 onwards, we no longer understood anything at all. This year, we find something constant, which allows you to attack and give free rein to your driving. Again, it was time.

What would it take on Sunday evening to see a big smile on the corner of Romain Grosjean ?

Be on arrival. If we cross the line, there's a good chance we'll be in the points. Now, if we don't take any points but end the weekend with the certainty of having a good car, the smile will be there too.
