Grosjean and Ericsson explain themselves

Romain Grosjean certainly hoped for better than a 19th place at the Chinese Grand Prix where he celebrated his 30th birthday. Starting from 14th position, the driver Haas saw his race complicated following contact with the Sauber of Marcus Ericsson. The former GP2 champion had to immediately pit to change his front wing.

“That idiot Ericsson fell on me in the first corner and damaged my front wing. He must open his eyes because he says he saw nothing”, commented Romain Grosjean on Canal+.

The Swede did not appreciate the comments of the French pilot and made it known.

“Romain came to see me and called me names”, explained the Scandinavian to Aftonbladet. “He said I was an idiot, that I was blind… He didn’t behave like an adult. He was yelling at me, I told him to calm down but he wouldn't listen to me. Instead, he went and told reporters the same thing. This is immature, amateurish and disrespectful. »
