Grosjean remains hopeful for Sochi

While Romain Grosjean had finished in the points during the first two Grands Prix of the season, the Frenchman was unsuccessful in Shanghai, only taking 19th place following a collision with the Sauber of Marcus Ericsson.

“It was a tough weekend and we were clearly hoping for a different result.”, commented the former Lotus driver. “It remains a bad memory, but I am sure that we will learn something positive from it because it is in difficult situations that we learn the most and I hope that will be the case. IF something is wrong, what can make it better? What can we do differently? How can we best respond if we find ourselves in a similar situation? This is one of the challenges to face with a new team, but I am sure that we will be able to react as we have done so far. »

Romain Grosjean remains optimistic for the Russian Grand Prix on May 1 after securing eighth place in the last edition.

“The front tires particularly suffered in China, especially the left one. It will be different in Russia because the track is more like Bahrain, which is a good thing. I hope we will have better settings to better manage the tires.", added the pilot Haas.
