Grosjean: The strategy was “stupid”

Romain Grosjean will only start from 11th place on the starting grid for the Bahrain Grand Prix even though the Lotus driver seemed easily able to place himself in the top ten. If the Frenchman won points in the first three races of the season, the former GP2 Series champion's best result remains a sixth place obtained at Sepang. By failing just six hundredths behind Jenson Button, the French driver would have liked to make a second attempt. We simply tried to qualify on a flying lap but unfortunately it didn't work. On the other hand, we found a lot of performance this weekend compared to the first three races and our pace in Q1 was very good.
