Grosjean: the vibrators involved

Romain Grosjean was only able to complete 23 laps in the second practice session of the Bahrain Grand Prix. The Haas driver F1 Team saw its tests disrupted by the breakage of its front wing around turn 13.

“He had vibrations when passing a curb, which caused his front wing to break”, explained Günther Steiner, Team Principal of Haas F1 Team. “It doesn’t seem like a big problem, but this is the first time we’ve encountered this with vibrators. Romain Grosjean had already encountered a similar problem during winter testing in Barcelona (Spain), but Günther Steiner assured that the origin of the problem was different.
