Grosjean is not closing any doors for his future

Si Romain Grosjean took nine podiums with Lotus F1 Team and was able to fight for victory on several occasions, the new technical regulations in force this year and the financial difficulties of the British team brought down the structure ofenstone in the ranking. The former GP2 Series champion was only able to finish in the points twice this season (eighth in Barcelona and Monaco) and the departure of Éric Boullier towards McLaren could open new doors for the French.

“We always think about the future. I have been here for a while (2012) and I know the team very well. But I also want to win races and the debate remains open”, commented the French driver in 13th place in the Championship in the Silverstone paddock. “We always tend to believe that the grass is greener on the other side, sometimes that is the case, sometimes not. Every decision involves taking a risk, whether it’s a change of engine or team. We take risks all the time when driving, it's part of the job. I really want to win my first Grand Prix and try to become world champion. I miss the podiums and the Sunday afternoon champagne. We all want it, but we want it even more after tasting it. »
