Grosjean leaves Bahrain military hospital

Romain Grosjean left the Bahrain Defense Force military hospital this Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. Bahrain time after spending 3 nights there. Victim of a terrible accident on the first lap of the Bahrain Grand Prix last Sunday, the Frenchman had been by helicopter in the evening.

The x-rays carried out did not reveal any fracture. On the other hand, the pilot Haas suffers from burns on his hands, the consequences of his miraculous escape from the inferno of his car in fire. Grosjean's package has already been confirmed by his team, which will field reservist Pietro Fittipaldi in his place at the Sakhir Grand Prix this week (December 4-6).

Grosjean hopes to return to Abu Dhabi in order to conclude his great career in Formula 1 on a positive note. He will also stay in Bahrain after his release from the hospital.
