Grosjean remains satisfied with his result

Romain Grosjean lost his chances of victory by missing his start and falling to fifth position behind Kimi Räikkönen and Nico Rosberg. The Lotus driver even had to vigorously defend his position against Sergio Perez (Sauber). The Frenchman damaged his front wing while the Mexican suffered a left rear puncture. After losing time to overtake the driver Mercedes, the Frenchman could no longer hope to get on the podium. He was content to combine the finish by signing fourth place which offers another very satisfactory result to the team ofenstone.

“I lost places at the start and a bit of my front wing too! », jokes Romain Grosjean after the finish. “This day was cooler, which didn't really suit us. Despite this, I am very satisfied with this fourth position, especially after missing the last free practice session yesterday (fuel pressure problem). These two points results are very good news for the team. After my difficult start, it was difficult to stay at the front with the damaged front wing, but we made modifications to the car at the end of the race and it was really good. I think we made the right decisions today. If we had been told that we were going to sign such a result, we would have signed straight away. »
