Despite a rather sanitized first race in Baku last year, Romain Grosjean thinks that the new cars represent a new challenge within the city walls.
« It's going to be quite exciting, comments the pilot Haas. I think several parts of the circuit will be very tight with the wider cars, but several other corners will be very fun to drive.
The French driver really enjoyed the first race on the track which he finished at 13e row, apart from the plastic bags which had cost him points by nestling in his air vents.
« The most difficult part of the circuit was the castle part, we go up on the bumps and then we go down on the last two turns which are quite difficult for once. This is the most delicate. We're going quite fast so you have to have the right distribution of brakes in your turns. It's really exhilarating when everything works."
Romain Grosjean is on a series of three consecutive points finishes since returning to Europe.
