Grosjean prepares for “a fantastic challenge”

Romain Grosjean and Kimi Räikkönen lifted the veil of the E20 presented today to the press. There car will allow the team to secure fourth place in the Manufacturers' Championship, an objective stated by enstone. The Frenchman is ready to take up the challenge. “I'm just starting to absorb it. I've been living a daydream since I got this steering wheel. It?s a fantastic emotion and also a fantastic challenge. I think the team has a good driver duo this year with Kimi and me. I hope we can achieve something special. I think I will only really realize it when I see my name on the entry list in Melbourne. For now, I'm really happy to be at the factory as often as possible, to be involved in the team and to prepare for the tests. »

The GP2 Series champion does not want to make hasty predictions about how the season will unfold but still displays real enthusiasm. “From what I've seen, I can say that the colors don't change! But we will have the answer down the track. I hope it will be a success and that we can give it a nice nickname after the first tests. Then we will try to improve it lap after lap, session after session. It's hard to say how I see the season. Obviously, I raced seven Grands Prix alongside Fernando (Alonso) and the experience I got from it was beneficial and still is. On the other hand, there are still circuits that I don't know. But I don't think you can say that I'm a rookie, precisely because of this first experience. Let's say instead that I am a young pilot who still has a lot to learn in Formula 1. But we all want to have a good season. »
