Guanyu, when we know the difficulty of securing a seat in F1 these days, we imagine that this contract extension sounds like a relief...
It’s clear that it’s getting more and more difficult. I particularly experienced it last year when fighting for the very last seat available. Afterwards, I didn't have too many worries this season. I knew that if I did a good job, I would have no problem continuing the adventure with Alfa Romeo. I'm also very happy that all this is already sorted, it eases the pressure.
Valtteri Bottas said all the good things he thinks of you, being impressed by your ability not to make many mistakes. How do you rate your first year in F1?
